On a recent visit to the Smooth Jazz Top 20 Countdown world headquarters, Saxophone Superstar Mindi Abair (L) celebrates the rise of her latest hit single 'Smile' on the charts with Countdown host Allen Kepler (R).

Pianist David Benoit stopped by this week and gave us a preview of his new CD called "Heroes" set to release later this Spring. The CD contains several very inspired covers of favorite songs like Dave Grusin's "Mountain Dance", Elton John's "Your Song", The Doors' "Light My Fire" and a favorite of the Smooth Jazz Top 20 staff -- David's take on the Michael Jackson classic "Human Nature". Look for the debut of at least one of David's new songs on the weekly Smooth Jazz Top 20 Countdown in the weeks ahead.

Nyee Moses stopped by the smooth jazz network studios to visit with show host Allen Kepler about her recent touring as well as the next potential single for her self titled debut CD. Although the single has not yet officially been selected, you can expect to hear the premiere of Nyee's new song on the Smooth Jazz Top 20 Countdown show in the coming weeks.
